Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has reportedly tied the knot with entrepreneur Grecia Munoz, according to sources familiar with the matter. The wedding ceremony took place over a month ago, with the couple recently returning from their honeymoon in February. Grecia Munoz, who now considers India her home, shared snippets of her life in Delhi on her Instagram account, giving followers a glimpse of her explorations in the capital, including visits to iconic landmarks like the Red Fort. Meanwhile, this marks the second marriage for Deepinder Goyal, who was previously married to Kanchan Joshi, whom he met during his time at IIT-Delhi. As the founder and CEO of Zomato, 41-year-old Deepinder Goyal has steered the Gurugram-based food delivery platform to remarkable success since its inception in 2008, originally under the name Foodiebay. Zomato has evolved into a prominent player in the food delivery industry, operating in over 1,000 cities across India.




However, Zomato recently faced criticism for its decision to introduce a 'pure veg' fleet of delivery executives clad in green uniforms, tasked exclusively with delivering vegetarian food. The move sparked an outcry on social media platforms, prompting Goyal to retract the decision, acknowledging the potential risks to the safety of their delivery personnel due to on-ground segregation. The incident underscores the challenges and complexities faced by companies navigating societal norms and customer expectations in the ever-evolving landscape of the food delivery industry.
